Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, continue to make waves in the media world, with recent engagements in both the fashion and entertainment industries. Despite a few setbacks, the couple's dedication to creating a unique brand and engaging with their audience in meaningful ways is apparent.


In recent news, the French fashion brand, Dior, dismissed rumors of a $20 million sponsorship deal with Meghan Markle. This news came as a disappointment to fans of the Duchess, who has been known to wear Dior for significant occasions. Notably, Harry sported bespoke Dior to his father's Coronation, and Meghan wore the designer to the late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral. However, despite the denial of a formal business deal, the couple's affinity for the brand remains strong, and some commentators suggest that Meghan's team is actively seeking similar deals in the future.


In the world of entertainment, the couple's production company, Archewell Productions, continues to develop content for Netflix. Their first venture, a documentary series aptly named "Harry & Meghan," broke viewership records on its debut. They are also working on other exciting projects, including a documentary series about the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded, injured, or sick armed services personnel.


Unfortunately, not all of their media ventures have been successful. Meghan's animated children's series, 'Pearl,' was cancelled by Netflix, and their podcast, Archewell Audio, was not renewed by Spotify. Despite these setbacks, they are reportedly developing a prequel to Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, titled Bad Manners, centered around the character of Miss Havisham. This shows that the couple is still eager to explore new creative avenues, even in the face of adversity.
